One Moment by Danielle Dickson review

All it took to turn our world upside down was one moment. A moment that would define the rest of our lives. Can mistakes of the past be forgiven?

For me to stay in control, I have to keep the memories locked away. Thinking back to a time when I lost my only lifelines is too painful. I’d rather shut it all out and go on living my normal day to day life; not connecting, not really feeling.

Every year I go back. Back to the place that haunts my nightmares. It’s torture. But seeing her face again dulls the pain, makes everything that much brighter. I’ll never be able to be in her life again; it will bring back too many painful memories. How can she forgive me, when I don’t even forgive myself?

Only time will tell.
I seriously love this story. There were a few times that the jumping back and forth between past and present had me a bit confused. But, after I got into the book and read for a bit I got the hang of how Danielle wrote it.
One moment can change everything...
The past has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it.
This is a very heartfelt story. It is emotional and I did cry a bit.
I really look forward to book two.
Cause with an ending like that I need more.
